We have had a wonderful start to the school year, and we appreciate your hard work with getting your child/children accustomed to the new schedules after returning from summer. We have completed four full weeks of school, and mid-nine week reports we be sent home on September 12. The students have learned procedures, routines, and classroom/school expectations for academics and behavior. Thank you for getting your child to school every day for this to occur more rapidly. Please remember to use the crosswalks between the school and the parking areas when walking your child into the building.
With that being said, unfortunately we have several students who are showing up tardy. This is causing students and classrooms to get a slower start to the school day and causing interruptions. We really need your help with this, and we look forward to seeing a morning start without any student being late for school.
Reminder: The first bell rings at 7:50 and the tardy bell rings at 7:55. If your child is tardy, please walk them into the school to get a tardy slip at the front office. This is for your child’s safety, and for us to keep record of attendance.
We will have “A” week September 11-15th, and it will be a great week of learning and fun celebrating the hard work of all the students to achieve this wonderful school grade! Please be looking for a note from PTO concerning what will occur each day.
Thank you for your support of our school!
