This year is my 35th year in education. I started out as a special education teacher in Texas. I spent one year out of teaching and came back into it as a 6th grade teacher. I continued teaching in grades 4 through 6 for the next several years before becoming an administrator. I have been in Roswell for 20 years and this is my 13th year as the principal at Washington Avenue. I love it here in Roswell and especially at Washington Avenue. My wife is an art teacher at the Creative Learning Center. Meg and I have four children: Brandon who lives in Amarillo, Texas, Jenci and husband Luke Huebner, who live in Roswell, Thad and wife Suzette, who live in Portland, Oregan, and Sarah and husband Stephen Bechtel, who live in Roswell as well.
