 Announcements 

The GEAR UP: 4.0 Pizza Party for the 9th and 10th grade has been rescheduled for Friday, January 30th during A and B lunch.

Business Professionals of America: On behalf of BPA, we sincerely hope that the Goddard High School Staff enjoyed their breakfast. We truly appreciate all you do for us!

Regional competition is under our belt and we are on our way to State! In addition to competition, we have a member running for state office! We leave on February 15, 2015 for Albuquerque. Wish us luck!

In preparation for state, we've been issued a challenge to sell at least 500 Special Olympic Links of Love. Each link is only $0.25 and all the proceeds benefit Special Olympics. We would like to thank you in advance for your support.

Reading Rockets: Book club is starting a new book. Join us and find out the mystery of The Picture of Dorian Gray. See Ms. Flom or Ms. Willden for copies of the book. Next meeting is Tuesday Feb. 3. and we always have FOOD!

Attention Juniors and Seniors: A Representative from the Air Force will be here Tuesday February 3rd at noon. If you would like to meet with her, you will need to see Mrs. Burris in the counseling office to sign up and you will be required to obtain parent permission as well.

F.C.A. Retreat: If you are going please go by and see Coach Pittman in room 43.

Collecting Pop Tabs: FCCLA is collecting pop tabs fort the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Bring them to your homeroom teacher, 3rd Period.

Chess Club: Will be meeting every Wednesday before school from 7 am until the bell rings in room 34 and after school from 3:05 to 4:00 in room 15.

Machomatics Questionaire: Fill out during your homeroom class, this will be the only opportunity to fill out your forms. They will be returned to Mrs. Marley's or Mrs. Cosman's box or classroom. More info will be forthcoming about when and where you can buy your results.

Students: Do you have a talent in theater, singing, sculpture, painting, poetry and essay writing? Would you like to display your talent in a regional competition? Sign up for "Festival Romanico 2015". For more information please contact Mr. Patoni at room 45.

Sophomores: Gear Up College Tours are continuing. Gear Up will host a college visit to New Mexico Tech on Wednesday, February 25th. Come by the Gear Up office in room 12 to sign up and get your permission packet. Must have a 2.0 GPA and passing all classes. Deadline to have permission packet returned is February 18th.

Attention Sophomore, Juniors, and Seniors:The Roswell Fire Department will make an "Opportunity for career" presentation on February 3rd at 9:45 a.mYou must sign up in the counselor's office by January 30, 2015 in order to be excused during that class period! If you choose this as a career you will have great benefits including a 25 year retirement program. If you sign at 18 you can retire at 43 years old! The Fire Department provides free education for Fire and EMS training.

FCCLA Members: There will be an FCCLA meeting Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 5:45 pm in Mrs. Marley's room. We will be discussing upcoming community service events, fundraising and competition. All members are strongly encouraged to attend.

Attention Seniors: Seniors if you have not ordered cap/gown/graduation announcements you must come to school office and pick up last minute order forms. Graduation is fast approaching and you must have at least a cap and gown to graduate so don't be left out. If you are going to attend FCA State Retreat please go by and see Coach Pittman in room 43.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes: Meetings will be held every Friday at 7:15 am in Mr. Holm's Room - Room 105. Everyone is invited. If you have any questions please see Coach Pittman in room 43.
