Lexia PowerUp

On behalf of the Curriculum and Instruction division and the Literacy and Humanities bureau, congratulations on being selected to participate in a pilot program for Lexia's PowerUp Literacy program for the 2023-24 school year! This initiative will allow over 25,000 middle school students in New Mexico to have access to a comprehensive program that will help to positively impact literacy outcomes throughout the state.

In the coming weeks, you will be receiving an assurance document from NMPED. This assurance document will outline all school/charter/district requirements for participating in the pilot program and will require signatures from the superintendent or director, assistant superintendent or assistant director, all principals or heads of school, and all teachers (those serving students who will be using PowerUp) for any schools receiving Lexia PowerUp Licenses. Please review the entire assurance document carefully. Additionally, please keep an eye out for any emails from our team as we may need to reach out to request clarification on select parts of your application.

If you have any questions about the assurance document or need any additional information, please contact Chase Deaton at [email protected].

Best,
