RISD Curriculum and Instruction is proud to have high quality, evidence-based curriculum on the ground and being implemented K-12 in the areas of science, math, ELA, and SEL.
Science
K-12 science was adopted 2019 (Amplify, Stemscopes, HMH)
Math
Elementary math adoption 2020 – Envision by Savvas
Middle School math adoption 2021 – Envision by Savvas
Secondary math adoption 2021 – Envision by Savvas
English Language Arts
Elementary ELA adoption was completed 2021 – CKLA
Middle School ELA adoption was completed 2021 - CKLA
High School ELA adoption was completed 2021 – My Perspectives
Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
Positive Action was adopted K-12, 2022.
Social Studies
New social studies standards were completed and released by NMPED 2021-22.
Social studies adoption cycle is 2022-23.
2023-24 Adoption will be Career Technical Education and Health
